Visit us
Hakkespettene is the children's activity house in Ekebergparken. Here we offer sculpture and art workshops for school classes and families throughout the year.
This little house was originally a small woodshed belonging to the villa next door, built in the 1890s. When Ekebergparken opened in 2013, all the villas were renovated, including the old woodshed.
Over the years we have had thousands of visitors through our doors — through the Cultural School Bag programme and the Education Authority, individual schools and kindergartens, as well as through our own organised family workshops.
You will find Hakkespettene right next to our museum of history and nature, approximately 2 minutes from the tram stop "Ekebergparken".
For information about the next family workshop, check our events page.
Ekebergparken has a climbing park with various routes for children and adults. The climbing park is open during the season from May to October, depending on weather and ground conditions.Â
For more information and booking, visit the climbing park's website or contact us.
Ekebergparken is a popular location for photography and filming. Professional use requires a permit. Contact us for enquiries about filming and photography in the park.
