Our main round is on gravel roads, and is the most universally accessible route in the park. It provides good access to many of the artworks in the collection. However, there are a number of artworks located on forest paths outside of the gravel roads. The park is also located on a steep hill.
The museum in Lund's House has an elevator, and an inclined plane in the entrance area. In the museum you may borrow a stool. We do not, unfortunately, have wheelchairs for borrowing. Do not hesitate to contact us on [email protected] for assistance when planning your visit.
Ekebergparken is a public forest area, and all roaming happen at the visitor´s own risk. During the winter season, we continously maintain the main roads at our best capability, and in keeping with the regulation plan for the area, issued by Bymiløetaten. We must always consider the conditions and keeping of the forest floor, nature and biological diversity - which means we simply cannot sprinkle gravel in forest areas.
The small white building opposite of Karlsborg Spiseforretning houses public toilets, that may be used. There is an entrance fee to access these, and possible to pay by card.
The museum in Lund's House has an HC toilet available, that may be used within the opening hours of the museum.
Parking is available, but spaces are limited, and we always recommend choosing public transport to get to the park. The park uses an Autopay solution from Onepark. Information about rates can be found on the payment machines. The payment machines are located in the car park by Ekebergrestauranten, and in the car park at Rodetomta (first right after turning in from Kongsveien). For faults with a payment machine or other enquiries, contact Onepark on tel. 22 84 92 00.
